About your Teacher
I have spent the past eighteen years in elementary education. I am a graduate of the University of Rhode Island with a BS degree in Elementary Education and Speech Communications. I began my career as a kindergarten teacher, then moved to second grade where I have remained for the past thirteen years!
A native Cranston resident, I continue to reside here with with my family. Over the past year I have worked with several colleagues, the Charles A.Dayna Center, and the Rhode Island Department of Education to rewrite our City's new math curriculum. The new curriculum was rolled out this 2012/2013 school year! |
Some of my hobbies include; reading, cooking, tropical vacations, going to the beach, and running in local road races.
I am looking forward to spending the year with your child. It is so exciting to watch them grow and develop into independent learners. Contact Information
